What Bhav Really Means in Guruji’s Darbar | Guru Ji Darbar Special |
(From what I have understood in my own journey)
Before this, when we spoke about simple daily rituals in Guruji’s Darbar, we saw that even the smallest act just sitting, listening, or remembering can feel complete. And somewhere within all of that… there is one thing that quietly holds everything together.
Bhav.
We often hear this word in sangat Bhav. And many times… we use it without really pausing to understand what it truly means.
What Guruji Taught Bhola Bhav
Guruji has always pointed towards one thing: Bhola Bhav.
A simple… innocent… pure emotion. Not complicated. Not calculated. Not layered with expectations.
Just… real.
He would always say that keeping a Bhola Bhav is the most sacred thing you can carry.
What Bhav Means to Me
If I have to put it into simple words…
Bhav is the emotion you carry within. It is also your intention.
Not what you show outside.
But what is happening inside you.
Why you are doing something.
How you are feeling while doing it.
That… is Bhav.

It Is Not About What You Do
You can do everything “right” externally set a beautiful Darbar, prepare a perfect bhog, do Aarti every day
And still… feel disconnected.
And sometimes, you can do almost nothing, just sit there quietly… and feel completely at peace.
That difference… is Bhav.
Bhav Is Intention
Bhav can also be understood as intention.
The intent you carry:
- towards Guruji
- towards others
- towards your own actions
Guruji always guided towards purity, simplicity, and goodness.
Even in small things.
Even When We Are Not Perfect
There are days when we are not at our best.
When our thoughts are not clear.
When our emotions are heavy.
And even then… if somewhere inside, there is still a genuine feeling…
a softness…
a truth…
That itself becomes Bhav.
It doesn’t need to be perfect. It just needs to be real.

Bhola Bhav The Simplest Form
Bhola Bhav is not something you create.
It is something you return to. Like a child without overthinking, without overdoing, without trying to impress.
Just showing up… as you are.
A Small Note from Me
Over time, I have realized… Bhav is not something I can “practice” like a ritual. It is something I keep coming back to. Every time I overthink… every time I complicate things…
I remind myself
to come back to simplicity.
to come back to honesty.
to come back to that quiet, innocent feeling. And somehow… that always feels closest to Him.
Evam Astu.
With folded hands for Guruji Maharaj.
